A FOUNDATION THAT FEELS FINISHED

Make the inside
your own.

From the ceiling to the rear corners, the kit brings panels, molded finishing pieces and L-track together into a cohesive Sprinter interior. Start with the space. Build your layout around it.

FINISHED INTERIOR EXAMPLE Standard fabric is Steel/Charcoal. Windows and pictured accessories are optional.

THE KIT, IN DETAIL

Light at its core.
Finished by hand.

Pre-upholstered panels. A considered choice of materials. Handcrafted in the USA or Canada, based on your delivery location.

LESS WEIGHT IN THE WALLS

Ultra-light plywood.
Built into the standard kit.

The standard wall panels use 7-ply Albizia Falcata plywood with a density of 360–400 kg/m³. Roughly half the weight of some traditional plywood at the same dimensions, it helps keep the interior kit lightweight.

Glue type

Material compliance
CARB Phase II / EPA compliant, per material specification

Weight comparison applies to the raw plywood at equal thickness and area. Actual savings depend on the species and density being compared; it is not a claim that the entire kit weighs half as much.

01 / STANDARD FINISH

Steel / Charcoal.
Already upholstered.

The standard SmartFit kit arrives pre-upholstered in Steel/Charcoal fabric, ready for the interior assembly.

02 / YOUR COLOR

A finish that feels like you.

Custom fabric colors can be ordered with an additional 1–2 weeks of lead time.

03 / CUSTOM MATERIALS

Hexply or bamboo.

Customize your kit with Hexply or bamboo options at little or no additional cost, depending on the configuration. Confirm the material selection and final pricing when ordering.

THE FINISH, UP CLOSE

Clean lines.
Considered corners.

The standard Steel/Charcoal fabric gives walls and ceiling a consistent finish. Molded pieces address the transitions above the sliding door, behind the driver’s seat, around the rear door frame and at the rear corners.

Included: the molded panel piece for the window area behind the driver’s seat.
All windows are optional.

ENGINEERED BEHIND THE FINISH

The sophisticated engineering behind the straightforward installation.

Simple,
But Complicated.

Simple to install. No drilling required. Behind that simplicity is complex engineering, repeated testing and continual refinement of the installation process. The rails, brackets and panels work together as a system, so the complexity stays in the engineering, not your build.

01 / STRUCTURE

No-drill by design.

A mounting system developed to make the interior installation more straightforward.

02 / MODULARITY

Eight channels. More options.

L-track provides the foundation for configuring the interior around your build.

03 / FINISH

The whole space, considered.

Molded finishing pieces bring continuity to the awkward transitions around the van.

PRE-WIRING BUNDLE INCLUDED

Thought through.
Right down to the wiring.

Marine-grade wires, a protective nylon sleeve and waterproof quick connectors bring the electrical preparation into the system. The included bundle and mounting clips support wiring for lights, USB connections and a heater.

QUICK-CONNECT DETAIL

SECURE ROUTING. A QUIETER INTERIOR.

Keep the wires where they belong.

Mounting clips help secure the bundle instead of leaving it loose behind the panels. Properly secured and protected wiring helps reduce rattling, chafing and the associated risk of electrical faults or fire.

Correct routing, circuit protection and installation remain essential. Confirm wire sizing, connector ratings and appliance requirements for your build; a pre-wiring bundle does not replace proper electrical design.

THE INSTALLATION, STEP BY STEP

Factory mounting points.
A considered sequence.

Extensively engineered, simpler to install.

  1. Start with the lower wall L-track.

Apply structural adhesive to the back of the lower wall L-track, then rivet it to the van using the factory holes.

  2. Insert the lower wall panel.

Place the lower wall panel into position.

  3. Secure the upper wall framing and panel.

Repeat the adhesive-and-factory-hole mounting process for the upper wall L-track backing. Position the wall panel, then bolt the upper wall L-track to its backing to clamp the panel in place.

  4. Continue into the corners.

Repeat the process for the corner L-track backing, then place the upper wall panels in position.

  5. Mount the ceiling structure.

Bolt the ceiling mounting brackets to the factory ribs through the factory holes. Then bolt the ceiling L-track backing to those brackets.

  6. Fit the ceiling panels.

Place the ceiling panels in position, then bolt the ceiling L-track into place.

  7. Finish the corners.

Install the molded finishing pieces around the corners to complete the interior assembly.

Assembly overview only, not a substitute for the verified installation manual. Follow the specified surface preparation, adhesive application and cure requirements, fasteners, tooling and tightening instructions before loading or using the system.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO THE BUILD

Skip the drilling-intensive installation.

Some conventional interior installations require extensive drilling and many hours of fitting and finishing. Drilled holes permanently alter the original sheet metal. Our SmartFit no-drill interior system avoids adding those mounting holes and streamlines the installation.

Comparison is qualitative. Installation methods and labor vary by system, vehicle and installer.

Installation times are estimates, not guarantees. Preparation, vehicle configuration and experience affect the work required. Optional windows and other accessories involve separate work.

BUILT FROM REAL EXPERIENCE

Seven years in Sprinters.
Built into this kit.

Years of installing different interior systems, building vans and manufacturing OEM components shaped our approach. The result is SmartFit, our engineered, modular no-drill kit, designed for a premium finish and a simpler installation.

07YEARS OF HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

These previous projects show where the ideas were tested: panel fit, mounting locations, bed integration and the details that make an interior work. Different builds, finishes and optional accessories are pictured. These past builds do not show standard-kit inclusions; the current standard kit uses Steel/Charcoal fabric and eight L-track channels.

MORE THAN A MODULAR BASE

An entire system.
Ready to plug and play.

The interior is just the beginning. With the base installed, add our elevator bed in minutes and bolt on lightweight overhead cabinets quickly. Build out your space with components designed to work together.

01 / BOLT-ON STORAGE

Lightweight cabinets.
A straightforward next step.

Our lightweight composite overhead cabinets are designed for quick bolt-on installation with the interior base in place. Modular storage, without starting your interior build again.

Optional component, separate from the base interior kit. Cabinet installation time depends on configuration and mounting preparation.

02 / A KITCHEN THAT FITS YOUR BUILD

The next piece of your interior.

A lightweight composite plug-and-play kitchen unit is part of the planned system. Combine the interior base, storage and kitchen around the way you travel.

Overhead cabinets and kitchen unit are planned for January availability, subject to confirmation. Final specifications and included appliances will be confirmed separately.

03 / BOLT ON. PLUG IN.

From open space to sleeping space.

With the base interior installed and power connection ready, our elevator bed bolts to the wall-ceiling corner L-track and plugs into power. Estimated installation: less than 30 minutes.

Optional elevator bed sold separately. Time estimate excludes base-kit installation and power preparation.

YOUR SYSTEM. YOUR CHOICE OF COMPONENTS.

Make room for more possibilities.

The L-track base opens up options for modular components beyond our own range. Planning to use VanEssential, Van Wife Components or another supplier? Confirm the exact product, mounting hardware, rail spacing, clearances and load requirements with us before ordering.

Third-party compatibility is product-specific and has not been verified across those suppliers’ full ranges. L-track attachment alone does not establish approved fitment or load capacity.
