The Sprinter Carbon Fiber Roof Top Tent System is built from aerospace-grade carbon fiber with a PMI structural core. PMI, short for polymethacrylimide, is a high-performance closed-cell foam core used in aerospace sandwich composites because it delivers excellent stiffness, thermal stability, low weight, and strong bonding performance with carbon fiber skins.

In this roof system, the carbon fiber skins provide strength and rigidity, while the PMI core separates the skins to create a lightweight structural panel with much higher stiffness than a solid laminate of similar weight. The result is a strong, low-profile roof-top tent shell designed for serious Sprinter conversions.

At approximately 150 lb without the roof rack, the system is engineered to keep roof weight controlled while adding a true upper sleeping platform, four-season usability, and a clean integrated exterior appearance.
1. Carbon Fiber PMI Roof Shell

Aerospace-style sandwich composite construction using carbon fiber skins and a PMI structural core for high stiffness with low weight.

2. Integrated Tent System

Pop-up sleeping space with insulated construction, weather protection, and a clean interface to the Sprinter roof.

3. Builder-Ready Package

Built for professional installation, solar planning, interior finishing, and complete Sprinter camper programs.

Four Season Travel Performance

Low Profile Outside.
Livable Space Inside.

The roof-top tent system gives Sprinter owners a dedicated upper sleeping area without turning the van into a bulky camper shell.

Carbon fiber PMI construction helps keep weight under control while improving stiffness and insulation value compared with a simple single-skin shell.

For builders, the advantage is a cleaner package: roof structure, tent space, sealing, and vehicle integration all designed around the Sprinter platform.
