Carbon Fiber + Kevlar Structural Shell

The shell is strategically built with multiple layers of carbon fiber and Kevlar to create the ideal balance of rigidity, durability, controlled flexibility, and long-term structural performance.

Carbon fiber alone is extremely rigid. By intentionally integrating Kevlar into the composite layup, RoamLabX creates a stronger and more balanced expedition shell designed to handle real-world vibration, impact, chassis twisting, and long-term overland use.

The lower body is fully molded around the wheel wells, so nothing hangs below the main camper body. Key systems, including the water tanks, are wrapped within the insulated shell to improve protection, packaging efficiency, cold-weather performance, and long-term durability.

Our mission is to make top-tier technology platform solutions accessible to builders of all sizes — from small custom upfitters to large-scale OEM manufacturers — through tailored OEM integration programs and fully customizable builder-focused solutions.
1. Bare Carbon Fiber + Kevlar Composite Shell

An industry-first structural composite shell designed for OEM manufacturers, professional upfitters, and quantity builders.

2. Finished Interior + Insulation Package

Includes insulation and pre-laid structural members for cabinet mounting and component installation. For scalable 10+ unit orders, structural member placement can be fully customized. We provide the shell CAD drawings, and your team can mark where structural mounting members should be integrated.

3. Radiant Heat Ready Interior Package

Includes everything in Version 2, plus pre-plumbed radiant heat flooring and radiant heat in the bed and bulkhead areas. The radiant heating system is pressure tested before delivery.

Four Season Climate Performance

Warm In Extreme Cold.
Cool In Extreme Heat.

The insulated composite shell is engineered to dramatically reduce thermal transfer in both hot and cold environments.

On a 35°C / 95°F day, real-world test data showed the 48V air conditioner power draw was consistently at 425W.

Combined with 600W+ of roof-mounted solar, the system is designed for highly efficient, self-sustained off-grid climate control and long-term remote expedition travel.
