Original integrated 48V platform.
Gen 1 helped define the category by combining battery storage, inverter power, charging, monitoring and distribution into a cleaner plug-and-play platform for vans, RVs, trailers and off-grid cabins. RoamLabX continues to support Gen 1 customers with parts, cables, troubleshooting and service assistance.
5kVA Power Kit Gen 2.
Gen 2 is EcoFlow’s current 5kVA 48V Power Kit platform for serious RV, van and off-grid power. Compared with Gen 1, the key upgrades are a higher-output 5kVA Power Hub, up to 11kW combined charging, 30A/50A RV distribution support, more modern system control, Power Insight monitoring and battery expansion through Power Dock.
Gen 2 moves from the original 3600W-class platform to a 5kVA hub with 4000W AC output and high short-surge capability.
Gen 2 supports higher charging architecture, including solar, alternator, shore power and generator input planning up to an 11kW combined pathway.
Gen 2 can scale from compact direct-battery builds to large Power Dock systems using up to 9 EcoFlow LFP batteries.
