No-drill Sprinter camper van interior kit

SmartFit by RoamLabX brings pre-upholstered wall and ceiling panels, molded trim and eight L-track channels together for Sprinter 144 and 170 high-roof van conversions. The standard finish is Steel/Charcoal fabric. Windows and pictured accessories are optional.

The patent-pending RoamLabX No-Drill Interior Kit is an OEM-grade, turnkey modular interior developed closely with OEM engineers. The simple installation is backed by repeated validation, testing and review of the installation process.

The interior system

  • Original-vehicle foundation: the kit is designed around original vehicle holes and structural members, with no new drilling required for its installation. L-track attachment details vary by position.
  • Modular mounting: aviation-origin L-track provides mounting for modular cabinets and components.
  • Pre-engineered wiring bundles: bundles for USB, lighting and wall outlets reduce individual wire routing for those connections. Final electrical integration depends on the vehicle and configuration.

L-track covers will be supplied later for a covered finish. Discuss your selected configuration and complete component list with RoamLabX before ordering.

L-track attachment design

Lower L-track: the lower tracks have no back framing. The kit design attaches them to the vehicle structure using high-strength stainless-steel rivets and Sikaflex-252 adhesive.

Upper and ceiling L-tracks: backing subframes are riveted, bonded and bolted to the factory structural members, using the vehicle’s original holes without new drilling.

Estimated first-time DIY installation takes 5–8 hours with part-time help. Vehicle preparation, installer experience and optional accessory work affect the time required.

Simple, But Complicated

Simple means no drilling and a straightforward installation. Behind that simplicity are complex engineering, development with OEM engineers, repeated experiments and testing, and an installation process that has been reviewed, revised and refined.

Modular additions & gallery references

The RoamLabX elevator bed is compatible with this interior kit. It bolts to the L-track at the wall-to-ceiling corners and connects to the power plug. With the interior kit installed and the connection ready, estimated bed installation takes less than 30 minutes.

This estimate refers to the elevator bed with the interior kit installed and the power connection ready. Interior-kit installation uses the separate professional-builder and DIY timings above. Confirm the complete vehicle and bed configuration with RoamLabX when planning your build.
